Stanley Wire are the only UK manufacturer of wire helicals for use in the precast piling sector. The helical links are used to correctly space the main rebars within the pile. Usually manufactured from 5mm diameter hard drawn wire, the links can be made in a range of sizes to suit various sizes of concrete piles. The wire has full traceability back to cast number and any testing requirements such as Tensile, Yield and elongation which may be required by our customers can be supplied from our state of the art testing facilities.
We are also manufacturers of bright hard drawn wire in traverse wound coils which are used on automatic cage welding machines and can supply a range of coil sizes to suit individual customers needs.
Stanley Wire are currently in the process of developing bespoke machinery for the manufacture of rectangular helicals for use as anti-bursts in slabs and large square helicals for use in concrete beams. Please contact us with any specific requirements that you may have.
Contilink Links
Stanley Wire are manufacturers of the “all new” Contilink which is a link designed to position the main reinforcement in ground beams and concrete columns. The link replaces individual links with one continuous link which is much faster to fix, making great savings to time and cost of cage manufacture. Contilink can be supplied in a range of sizes and number of turns using wires with a diameter of 6mm up to 10mm.
Stanley Wire are the only manufacturers of this revolutionary new system and have Patent pending on the product.
Antiburst Links
Antiburst links manufactured from Rebar and used in post tensioning systems in concrete slabs can be supplied in a range of rebar diameters and link sizes manufactured to your dimensions. The links are supplied in bulk bags for ease of handling.
